Darryl Hobbs
Darryl is an Assistant General Counsel for Microsoft based out of Washington DC. He currently services as Head of Legal for Microsoft Philanthropies, Worldwide Nonprofit Sales and Worldwide Learning. Prior to joining Microsoft, Darryl led a business development team for AOL-Time Warner, served as in-house counsel for IBM and worked at a large international law firm. Darryl received his B.A. in finance from James Madison University and his J.D. from the University of Virginia school of Law. |
Asif Khan
Asif is a development and tech professional focused on the intersection of technology and social impact, with a special focus on education, LGBTQ+ rights, & gender equality. He is currently serving as an adjunct professor at the St. John's University Graduate School. Asif has previously worked for the United Nations Foundation in New York and Washington managing and creating long-term partnerships with companies, foundations, bi-laterals, and UN agencies. In addition, he has held high-level positions at Games for Change, Room to Read, Action Against Hunger, and DoSomething.org. Prior to joining the nonprofit sector, Asif worked in corporate finance and investment management at The Jordan Company and AllianceBernstein in New York. Asif has a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Masters in International Relations & Development from the University of Warwick in England. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Urdu & Turkish, and has studied and worked in England, Spain, Turkey, Argentina & Pakistan. |

Harry Grout
Harry is an accomplished executive with robust experience in working with companies at all levels of maturity, from start-ups to a Fortune 500 organization. His career began with a small mapping company that was acquired by Rand McNally. Employing the newest digital technology for map creation, Rand McNally pushed him to the forefront of digital mapping and included stints with a number of Silicon Valley companies including NAVTEQ, Etak, and Strategic Mapping Inc., all of which were leaders in the use of GIS and automotive navigation. He served as a co-founder of MapQuest managing the development and growth of the Denver office that dominated digital mapping in the pre-Google Maps era. Harry went on to apply his management and spatial technology skills to the Yellow Pages industry in the United States, with Dex and EmBarq (RH Donnelley Companies), and for European Directories based out of the UK with 8 operating companies throughout Europe. |
