Plans may need to be augmented to fit the selected location for the Hut. Weather conditions will dictate the types of materials used in the Hut fabrication. Other issues will be addressed during this phase as we listen intently to the local contacts regarding security, sanitation, educational, cultural and other aspects that will affect how the Hut is fabricated and assembled.
A trained member will accompany the Hut so that the local team can see exactly how to assemble the Hut at its destination. Feedback from the local team will be a vital part of the 'Lessons Learned' philosophy at Thinking Huts.
Inventory and Learning
After each Hut is constructed a 'Lessons Learned' session is conducted to see how the next Hut could be improved. Feedback from the communities are noted, and along with the last Hut plan are archived. This important information can then be easily recalled and/or reused for additional Huts in the same or similar locality.
