The Pollinator membership gives you access to an exclusive community of leaders in philanthropy, opportunities for on-site visits to Thinking Huts campuses in Africa, and direct access to our founder.
Thinking Huts is an international charity founded in 2015 that leverages humanitarian-driven, innovative 3D printing technology to increase access to education by building infrastructure where it is needed. We reduce the overall time of school builds and create local jobs to empower thriving communities.
At the heart of what we do is family because the root of many parents’ hopes and dreams in the areas we serve is the belief that education access will change the trajectory of their child’s life. We are bringing together families who embody this vision and are passionate about making a positive difference in the world with the time we are given.

Our highly anticipated current project serves 3 villages in East Africa for students aged 4-16. Our goal is to complete the 3 Huts for the Honeycomb Campus in 2025.

We are expanding our focus areas to these regions and accepting sponsor and partner proposals for project development to assess our next school locations.

Our schools are inspired by beehives and seek to blend with local culture by involving a hybrid design of 3D printed walls and locally sourced materials. Each of our schools provides a wealth of employment opportunities – from the local construction teams who build them to the teachers who bring them to life. We bring together partners locally and globally which have ripple effects in health and nutrition, water and sanitation, solar energy, financial and economic empowerment.
